1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Get Roasted ("the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. By creating an account, viewing content, or uploading any photo, video, or text to the Service, you expressly confirm your acceptance of these terms.

2. Description of Service

Get Roasted is a social entertainment web application where users may post content (including photos, videos, and text) and invite others to submit humorous, critical, or satirical comments ("roasts"). Content may be voted on and displayed in feeds and leaderboards. The Service is provided for entertainment purposes.

3. User Content and Roast Content — Your Responsibility

By uploading any photo, video, or text as "roast me" or similar content to the Service, you explicitly accept and acknowledge the following:

• Other users may post comments that are humorous, critical, harsh, or otherwise directed at you or your content ("roasts"). Such content is an integral part of the Service.
• You accept full responsibility for any emotional, psychological, or other impact that may result from roasts or other user-generated content directed at you. You participate in the Service at your own risk regarding the nature of the content you may receive.
• The Service is offered for entertainment. We do not guarantee that content will be mild, and you waive any claim against us arising from the tone, content, or effects of user-generated roasts.

4. Your Controls and Choices

• Deletion of content. You may delete your own posts (including any photos, videos, or text you have uploaded) at any time through the in-app controls. Deletion is subject to our systems and backup retention as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Blocking users. You may block other users who abuse the Service or post inappropriate comments. Blocking is at your discretion. We provide the blocking tool as a user control; our provision of this tool does not create any obligation on us beyond making it available. We may also take moderation actions independently.

5. Acceptable Use and Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes others' rights;
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
• Circumvent moderation, reporting, or blocking mechanisms;
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity;
• Use the Service for spam or automated abuse.

We reserve the right to remove content and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we otherwise deem harmful to the Service or its users.

6. Intellectual Property and Licence

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, store, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service. Our names, logos, and the design of the Service are our property and may not be used without permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL CONTENT. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE (AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR FROM USER-GENERATED CONTENT, INCLUDING ROASTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN SUCH CASES OUR LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED BY LAW.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your conduct, or your violation of these terms or any third-party rights.

We may modify these terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the last update. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
